Authorities have registered a First Information Report and commenced an investigation to ascertain the extent of the duo's involvement in militant activities and their connections within the LeT network. The term "hybrid militants" refers to individuals who are not officially listed as militants but are radicalised enough to carry out attacks and then blend back into civilian life.
This development is part of ongoing efforts by security forces to counter militant activities in the region. Earlier this month, six militants were neutralised in separate operations in Kelar, Shopian, and Tral areas, conducted by the Indian Army in coordination with Jammu and Kashmir Police and the CRPF.
