Kejriwal Warns: Voting for BJP Will End Free Services in Delhi

Addressing a gathering in Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal urged residents to avoid voting for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming Assembly elections, cautioning that such a choice could lead to the discontinuation of essential free services provided by his administration. He emphasized that the AAP government has diligently served Delhi for a decade, implementing initiatives unprecedented in other states.

Kejriwal highlighted key welfare schemes, including free electricity, water, healthcare, education, and bus rides for women, as significant achievements of his tenure. He asserted that these services have become integral to the lives of Delhi's residents, setting the city apart from others where such benefits are absent. He warned that a vote for the BJP could jeopardize these programs, forcing citizens to choose between paying bills and caring for their families.

In response, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva accused Kejriwal of instilling unnecessary fear among voters. Sachdeva reiterated that the BJP would not only continue existing power subsidies but also extend benefits to middle-class consumers, ensuring clean water supply for all residents.
