The Amboli Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) under Section 351(3) of the Indian Penal Code against an unknown individual and have initiated an investigation. The threatening email, signed as 'BISHNU', states: "We are monitoring your recent activities and we believe it is important that we bring to your attention a sensitive matter. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you; we urge you to treat this message with utmost seriousness and confidentiality." The sender demanded a reply within eight hours, warning of consequences on personal and professional fronts if no response was received. More recently, actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked at his Bandra home in the early hours of Thursday. The assailant stabbed him six times, causing severe injuries. Doctors successfully removed a 2.5-inch knife from his wound. After receiving treatment at Lilavati Hospital, Saif Ali Khan returned home on Tuesday evening, where he greeted fans and the media. He also met with auto driver Bhajan Singh Rana, who had transported him to the hospital following the attack.
