Delhi blast at school triggers political blame game

A loud explosion outside a school in Rohini’s Prashant Vihar area of Delhi early Sunday morning has intensified political tensions, with Chief Minister Atishi directly blaming the central government for deteriorating law and order in the city. The incident occurred near the CRPF school, causing damage to the school premises and nearby structures, although no injuries were reported. Investigations are ongoing, with the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and National Security Guard (NSG) joining Delhi Police and forensic teams at the site.

The blast shattered glass windows of nearby shops and vehicles, leaving the vicinity cordoned off. Authorities described a foul odor at the scene and reported material resembling a crude explosive device. Delhi Police, along with forensic and crime teams, are analyzing collected evidence, while heightened security measures have been implemented citywide ahead of the festive season.
