India, China Begin LAC Disengagement in Ladakh
The disengagement process between Indian and Chinese forces at the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh has officially commenced, marking a significant de-escalation in the area following extended negotiations. Recent agreements reached by military commanders from both nations led to this coordinated pullback, which includes the removal of temporary tents and structures erected on each side. Indian soldiers have withdrawn westward along the Charding Nala, while Chinese troops are moving eastward in a bid to alleviate long-standing border tensions.
