Cyclone Dana to Bring Heavy Rains, Flood Alerts Issued in Tamil Nadu

Cyclone Dana, which is currently developing in the Bay of Bengal, is set to bring heavy rainfall across several districts of Tamil Nadu. The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) has issued flood alerts as the low-pressure area over the east-central Bay is expected to intensify into a cyclonic storm by October 23. Widespread downpours are anticipated, especially in regions like Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kancheepuram, and Tiruvallur.
