Torrent Power's Bold Renewable Investment Plan Aims for 10 GW by 2030

Torrent Power has made a significant commitment to expand India's renewable energy capacity, unveiling plans to invest Rs 64,000 crore by 2030. The company has set ambitious targets, aiming to achieve 10 GW of renewable energy capacity, including substantial solar and wind power projects. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with Gujarat for a 5 GW solar and wind hybrid project.

In addition to this, Torrent Power is venturing into green ammonia production with a planned capacity of 1,00,000 Kilo Tonnes Per Annum (KTPA). This facility will require an estimated Rs 7,200 crore investment and create 1,000 jobs. These initiatives are part of a broader push toward green energy, aligning with India's national renewable energy goals of 500 GW by 2030.
