Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar, has pledged a thorough investigation into the allegations surrounding the involvement of his cousin, Supriya Sule, in a bitcoin fraud case. Speaking to the press earlier today, Pawar assured that the truth will be revealed following a detailed inquiry into the matter.
The allegations have stirred political tensions as Supriya Sule, a prominent Lok Sabha member from Baramati, has been accused of complicity in a large-scale cryptocurrency scam. Though Sule, the daughter of NCP chief Sharad Pawar, has yet to officially respond to the claims, her involvement in the matter has raised questions about potential political ramifications.
Ajit Pawar, a key figure in the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), responded to the growing controversy during his morning address. When asked about the bitcoin scam, Pawar stated, "An inquiry will be done and the truth will come in front of the people." His remarks have come at a time when Maharashtra is gearing up for upcoming assembly elections, with Pawar himself contesting the Baramati seat.
